History
In the early 1960s, the Assemblies of God leadership was
concerned about the large number of teenage boys who were
dropping out of the church. The Men’s Fellowship Department
(now HonorBound: Men’s Ministries) was asked to develop a
program for boys. In October of 1962, Royal Rangers was
launched at the Assemblies of God ministry for boys.
Royal Rangers has since grown and reaches out to more than
65 nations worldwide. In Singapore itself, there are 19 outposts
and counting. Among them, Outpost 15 was established in the
year 2005 as part of Living Spring Fellowship. Outpost 15
consists of 5 sub groups, namely, Royal Lambs, Ranger Kids,
Discovery Rangers, Adventure Rangers and Expedition Rangers,
each headed by respective commanders.
Royal Rangers Ministries aim to reach, teach and keep boy,
girls and youths for Christ.
